Description: That work is the part of the "The "Layers of Identity" collection. That reflects the journey through four distinct phases that people often face during social or personal immigration. Each phase represents a part of the transformation process, carrying a dual nature—showing how the same experience can lead to different results based on one’s attitude, goals, and actions. The collection consists of four key phases: Cave, Coat, Chain, and Contour—each representing a unique challenge or step that individuals encounter along their path to self-discovery and adaptation.
Cave:
A cave can be a place of safety and rest, allowing someone to retreat into their thoughts without pressure. But it can also be a place where one gets stuck, afraid to face the challenges of the outside world.
Through these phases, I share stories—my own and those of others—capturing how identity is continuously shaped by both internal reflections and external circumstances.
